Appearance: Impressively beautiful, large, elegant sighthound (males 28+ inches, 75-105 lbs). Luxurious silky coat. Built on the Greyhound template: swift and tough. Known as the Russian Wolfhound.
Traits & Characteristics: Aristocratic, calm, agreeable temperament. Can run 35-40 mph. Quiet, catlike, can be stubborn. Affectionate family dogs, but too dignified for roughhousing. Strong pursuit instinct requires fenced areas.
