Briard

Appearance: Muscular French herder with a wavy coat. Impressive head with peek-a-boo hair parted in the middle. Luxurious beard/eyebrows accentuate a frank, questioning expression. Burly, rugged, but move nimbly. Often described as a 'heart wrapped in fur'.

Traits & Characteristics: Packs loyalty, love, spirit. Trainable, brainy, protective of family (especially kids), wary of outsiders. Large, tireless dogs needing owners who can handle their work drive and zest for life.
