Clumber Spaniel

Appearance: Largest flushing spaniel (17-20 inches, 55-85 lbs). Powerful bird dog, heavy bone, built long and low, massive head. Dense coat primarily white with sparse lemon/orange markings. Moves with free, easy gait despite build.

Traits & Characteristics: Dignified, mellow hunting companion of kings. Amiable, amusing best friend, gentlemanly housemate. Sweet, easygoing at home, relentless on scent outdoors. Smart, eager-to-please, respond well to training. Wary of strangers but friendly; indifferent watchdogs. Love swimming/fetching, sturdy playmates.
