Appearance: Powerfully large Hungarian flock guardian (males 27.5+ inches, 100+ lbs). Covered in profuse white cords head to tail (among world's most recognizable breeds). Heavy bone, deep chest, lots of muscle. Agile, light-footed despite brawn, move with long strides. Plural: Komondorok.

Traits & Characteristics: Independent, protective, require firm, experienced training. Bred to guard livestock. Calm, steady with family; wary/territorial with strangers. Dignified, brave, loyal.
