Silky Terrier

Appearance: Compact toy terrier (10 inches tall, ~10 lbs), larger than cousin Yorkie. Glossy blue-and-tan coat is straight, feels/behaves like human hair. Wedge-shaped head topped by profuse hair parted down middle. Erect V-shaped ears, keen piercing almond eyes. Refined look but still true earthdog.

Traits & Characteristics: Charming member of Toy Group, but true terrier of energetic high spirits. Small but not fragile, feisty but not yappy, pretty but not sculpted. Dynamo animated by curiosity/high spirits. Confident, alert, friendly. Need grooming; moderate exercise.
